Ride for life 2015: Lady Polita will be present at Imola!

The schedule for ride for life 2015 has been determined, it will be held on 14th and 15th November, at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari of Imola: the event will see the partecipaton of Alessia Polita among other riders from speed and off road racing, that will be putting themselves to the test on pit bikes and go-karts.

To celebrate it’s five year anniversary, the Riders4Riders onlus foundation has prepared an edition of the event that can only be defined as spectacular; not only will there be a new location- the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari of Imola- but also lots of riders have already made their presesence known and they are ready to give you a great time on the 14th and 15th.

Ride for Life has always made it possible for fans meet their heroes, and it would like to keep this up on 14th and 15th of November. During the two day event you will be able to see some of your favourite speed and off road racers from up close. Here are a few names! From team Ducati: Andrea Dovizioso, Michele Pirro, Marco Melandri, and Loris Capirossi, then there’s the youngster from the official Suzuki team Maverick ViΓ±ales; plus Alex De Angelis and Enea Bastianini from Moto3. From Enduro there will be Alex Salvini and Alessandro Lupino, Ride for Life will be also hosting the feamle motocross world champion Kiara Fontanesi, Alessandro Botturi rider from Yamaha’s official team at the Paris-Dakar, and many more.

Accompaning these names will be Alessia Polita: the jesin rider, who lost use of her legs in an accident on 15th June 2013, a supporter of Riders4Riders since its beginning, and 2015 is an occasion for her to show off one of her biggest passions: karting.

The β€œLady Polita Onlus” kart trophy, will see her racing against other riders in heats with a pursuit formula on 2 laps. She added β€œI have been a supporter of ride for life since day one, and when in 2013 I was the one who hurt herself riders4riders were the first to give me substantial help, confirming their solidarity towards this kind of situations. That is the reason why it’s an occasion I can’t miss!”.

Following the great success it has had since it’s first installment, the pit bike event will repeat itself this year. Cycling will see athletes competing for the Andrea Antonelli trophy, in an original doubles format lasting 30 minutes with changes every two laps.

The schedule for the two days also includes: exibitions from MX freestylers Monti, Bianconcini, Odera and all the riders of the DABOOT group; Quad Evolution shows will be peformaed by Roberto Poggiali; there will also be a flatland BMX show by Luca Contoli. Food and evening entertainment will be provided by Sergio Sgrilli.

The event will end with a raffle, one of the prizes is an exclusive passe for the Italian paddocks in

the biggest motorbike circuits: MotoGP, world SBK, and MXGP.
