Ride For Life 2015: a bigger show at Imola circuit
Ride For Life, the charity sport event organized by Riders4Riders Onlus, has a new home.
After two years on the Pista South Milano track in Ottobiano the 2015 edition, scheduled on 14 and 15 November, will be held at the Autodromo βEnzo e Dino Ferrariβ in Imola.
This structure will allow the event to evolve and present a new formula, even more spectacular and exciting. For the first time, in fact, the Ride for Life event will browse all motorcycling disciplines, from speed to motocross. A party between the champions and the public, rich in solidarity and initiatives to support research for the treatment of spinal cord injury.
It will also be anticipated to 1 November, at the Monte Coralli Faenza, the usual Trophy MX “Riders4Riders”, reserved for motocross riders. The initiative, with charity purposes and as always paired with Ride For Life, will allow the winners to participate in challenges with the champions on 14th and 15th November in Imola.
Ride For Life 2015, and the collection of funds organised by Riders4Riders have officially started on April 6 with the Bologna Rock 4 Riders, an innovative Rock Festival with many concerts that also saw the exclusive participation of freestylers Daboot, Roberto Poggiali and Luca Contoli, with their freestyle performances of Motocross, Quad and Flatland BMX.
Fundraising and promotion of Ride For Life continues this weekend at the fourth round of the Motocross World Championship, the MXGP of the Trentino in Pietramurata. Riders4Riders non-profit organization will be there with its ambassadors, various initiatives are planned to promote direct contact between the riders and the public and there will be a raffle lottery of memorabilia whose proceeds will be used for research.
This will be repeated on 13th and 14th June during the MXGP of Italy in Maggiora (Novara), the ninth round of a world championship with our champions Tony Cairoli and Ryan Villopoto.
On August 29, the charity event “Supercross Cup” in Bagnolo Mella is finally confirmed. The event, organized by Luca Pellegrini in collaboration with his brother Angelo, supports Riders4Riders and the research for the treatment of spinal cord injury. From this year, Luca Pellegrini is also active as an ambassador of the association.
